.
.....@ Greenbelt there was an iPod session - on the last noght.
Me! - I turned up with about 5 other poddies and we did a little set each.
We just played some trax from out iPod into a nice big sound system with about a dozen in the crowd!

I just sat there with a mike and scrolling the iPod with one hand - fading the vibes up and down. Ranting as I do about the tracks and the voices and the lyrics and the tone of voice and what it means to me.

These are tracks I played

0 Don't Say Nuthin (Instrumental) 3:36 The Roots Don't Say Nuthin - Hip Hop. I used this to talk over at the start. Love it in this version.
1 Golden (Original West Coast Mix) 3:52 Jill Scott Golden - I have said so much about this. Gold - pure.
2 Scared (Edit) 3:53 Slacker a dance track about drugs. Real haunting. The voice sounds like it emanates from a real chemically spoiled life.
3 Try 4:19 Sidsel Endresen, Bugge Wesseltoft from an album called ... Mixing by Jazzanova. Moving stuff and reminds me of a young lass I loved who was found dead on Easter Day with an overdose of drugs.
4 Jesus Walks 3:13 Kanye West album; The College Dropout. Love this track and just iTunes downloaded the full album.

At the end someone said I was the winner and I got a iPod battery pack as a prize - a delight for me - didn't do it for the prize but just the fun.
I am a fanatic - music that is. The iPod just makes it easier to enjoy.

Next year - bring your iPod to Greenbelt - we could be in for something good.
