This is a wee painting I did on holiday a few years ago.
I will be brushing up again during the next two weeks.
Did not splash paint at all last holiday for some reason.

iPods are made for holidays.
This will be the fifth annual 2 weeks away when I have an an iPod.

I remember the first iPod year next to the pool in Italy
Fav song was 'Yesterdays Pain' by Viktor Duplaix
wondrous stuff.
I also remember listening to my favourite Opera there
Madame Butterfly hmmmmm
every note all the way through.

This year, the excited boy that I am,
I have bought a new version from iTunes
A classic of the opera with
Maria Callas as Madame Butterfly (Recorded in 1955) with
Herbert von Karajan & Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala di Milano
Puccini: - what a geezer
2 hours 19 minutes by the pool ........... hmmm

The iPod also includes
6240 tracks

including
272 tracks of two hours long
which are all radio programmes
my favourite DJ's
Tong Gilles BenjiB Aaron Ross Late Junction and more and more.......
I will read a few books too
Fiction/Proverbs
and the Guardian
and breathe deeply
and enjoy that special pause between each deep breath .........
