hey ........ I have been out and about so I am chasing busy with lots of human interactions and leaving behind my usual reflections ...... and a bulging waistline-inbox .....

Only late night, when I am good for nothing - I am picking up a book which has touched me deeply in the past. I have so many books like this. I need to have one on the go all the time ...........

This one is about Etty Hillesum. In fact it is her diaries. She lived in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, during World War II .
From 1941-1943, till the time she was deported to Westerbork, for the gas chambers of Auswitzch.
She kept a diary.
This diary was discovered in 1981.
It became just as popular as the diary of that other Dutch Jewish girl, Anne Frank.
It's now translated in many languages all over the world.
The book shakes my soul.

Read this bit fro her diary::
"We should accept death as being a part of life, even the worst death.
Life is beautiful to me and worth living and full of meaning. Despite everything."
(July 1 1942)

This is good for me ...... it takes me to new places ...... outside the comfort zone where change resides .....
