If you are in London and some other places in the UK you may now be home as almost all the London Tubes are not running. All buses are off the road, even though they continued during the World War blitz.

I lay in bed this morning and clicked my iPhone to reveal the trains from here AND the tubes were all up the spout. So I won't be travelling in London today. I have lots of prep for other days. Warwick University at the week-end and Norway next week - I wonder what the weather will be there? I am just not equiped like the Norwegians with fab winter clothing and boots.

I love the Quote below, borrowed from Richard in USA. Only yesterday I was asked for ideas for inspirational books and I sent this pic of two by Parker Palmer.
The one on the left is massive. It is written out of the formal education field. I am in the informal education scene but the is book is one of the best when it comes to spiritual issues in Leadership, Teaching and living indeed.

How about you taking this quote
reflecting on it
transposing it to your situation
let the sparks fly
undress the soul
now?

"In a true community we will not choose our companions,
for our choices are so often limited by self-serving motives.
Instead, our companions will be given to us by grace.
Often they will be persons who will upset our settled view of self and world.
In fact we might define true community
as that place where the person you least want to live with always lives!"
- Parker Palmer (The Promise of Paradox)
