I used to run a club,
employed by the YWCA,
and we called it
The Y Club,
St Helens
Lancashire.
It was a new building but a rough
and tough old place.
It was at the end of an unmade road.
Full of Bikers
Football teams
Late night conversation,
(we received all the older boys
when the pubs closed),
and
was full of action and adventure.
It was long hours
busy days
late nights
discos
live bands
fights
week-ends away
Mini-bus trips to S France
Italy
Switzerland
tears
love
romances
all nighters ..............
and we lived in a small flat above the shop
........................... some great memories.
