I was in Norway
I had recently given a talk
to a large group and
I was chatting afterwards
in a group of four.

One man, a Chef in a college community,
striving to meet the needs of young humans,
started to tell me how he baked bread.
And then he started to weep as he told me
of the loving care he gave
to that bread -
to those humans.
Beautiful
Henry Ford looked at the factory
the line of new cars -
beautiful.

The Potter stood back and
gazed at the glazed -
beautiful.

The Farmer stopped,
stooped,
grasped a handful of wheat -
beautiful.

The Grandfather
held his new Grandchild
held those little fingers
his eyes glazed -
beautiful.

The Divine
could not
remove his eyes.
The attention was fixed.
The gaze.
Hardly a blink.
Eyes
reading
loving
every move
of yours -
beautiful.

Unconditional
beautiful.

'It all depends on the Lens you use -
make your gaze beautiful'
John O'Donohue.
