Connie. So beautiful in my life

-- Posted from Pip's iPhone
You are beautiful.

A story everyone in the world needs to read/hear.

A water bearer in India had two large pots,
one hung on each end of a pole which he carried
across his neck. One of the pots had a crack
in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always
delivered a full portion of water at the end
of the long walk from the stream to the
master's house. The cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master's house.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it
spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream.
"I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you."

Why?" asked the bearer.
"What are you ashamed of?"

"I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house.
Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path."

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some.

But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side?

That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it.    ... I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."
Hello beautiful human
Late night Wilson Mansions here.

I feel I have not blogged properly for ages.
The thing is - I seem to say that often.
I feel that I have dropped bits into my blog
but not revealed myself much.

I have been busy
have been changing
busy implementing change.
Do you feel that you are mid-change?
Or do you feel static?

I have been away at week-ends
I have also chilled out some more - trying to change!
I have been riding my bike.
I have been meeting up with beautiful humans
Missing many meetings with beautiful humans.
I want to much to catch up with my inbox but that takes time.
I have missed church a lot.
It does not worry me but I want to be there.

I have been receiving/sending letters to
HMP Prison called::Wormwood Scrubs.

The young beautiful human there says 'tell people about me Pip'
but I want to get it clear before I do.
I want to respect the confidentiality of personal letters but ...
his messages/pressures/challenges/survival/spirit/mental state are
so powerful to me - disturbing my comfortable.
With his permission, I will give you some quotes of his.
How he is passionate for a positive life
wanting to grow and be useful in his life.
He has massive personality and much to offer.
I feel I am breathing with his every breath
Sometimes two/three letters a day ........

I will get back to you on him - depending on my brief from him.

I am going to bed if ........
I can get Zig to come in.
The warmer weather means he is staying out to play.
At the moment he is out on the tiles and don't want to lock him out all night ....

I saw an old man
SLOW WALKING
and I feel.

Why do humans walk
through central London
slow?

Why?

Because they are going nowhere.

I saw an old man yesterday and he was walking up and down going nowhere. I feel.
So many humans with potential are left. Why can't we tap their energy and experience?
We can see the behaviour but we cannot see their experience.
Yet I believe that we are all so talented, gifted, ability to give.

I felt for this man as he walked past several times.
Who is he?
What family? What relationships? His health? His mind? His faith? His hopes? His past? His present? His soul?

Next time you see someone 'slow walking' ...........

Touch which Blob is you right now.
(Touching is more powerful)

..... interact with your own soul. Writing more powerful than thinking.

Dave (see Blog below)
was remembering .........

He recalled that, some thirty years ago,
when he came as a student youth worker
to the project I led in East London ........

He remembers a young woman
who blanked me every day.
Every time I said hello
Every time I used her name
For months,
No speaking
No recognition
No facial response
No smile
No acknowledgement to me as an
outgoing 'make human contact' person.

He recalls that she walked past one evening in the club
and said to me
"Pip - would you like a piece of Fry's Chocolate Cream"

He remembered that.
I didn't.
Just think how sensational that is.
A breakthrough
An interaction
A giving
A response ...........

Last night I had a curry in Brick Lane.
I was with my friend Dave from Belfast.
We have seen each other twice in 30 years.
First of those was one year ago.

At the age of 24 he came as a student youth worker.
I was leading a youth project in the East End of London.

He has been involved for many years in reconciliation work.
He was feeding my out-of-date-mind about the issues over the water.
Because the 'Troubles' of ended we get little news from Northern Ireland now.
Only a sectarian murder delivers some news coverage of that divided land
and the many divided communities.

Brown eyes/Blue eyes.
We talked about the experiential exercise
using the colour of participants eyes.
Prejudice/injustice/deprivation/ all dished up
as an exercise but delivering real feelings -
real racist behaviours, real prejudice.
Powerful.

So much is unique about that region.
Yet the issues relating to
the human damage and long ingrained socialisation
is transposable into my work and the situation here.
London/Urban/Oppression/Offending/Dysfunction
all need the new experiences of
bringing the separated into union with one another,
touching finger tips,
holding hands.
Lions laying with the Lambs.
That we all may be one ..........

Our discussion reminded me
of my blog a few weeks ago -
'Take a new born child
and sew him up in a dead mans skin.
Grand father has come back to life.'
All about socialisation.

We shared stories from his work.
My work.

We talked about our experiences
from our Youth Work some 30 years ago.
He remembered more than me.
That is worth another Blog tomorrow ......

Love is not an emotion.

Love is not waiting to discover
who loves me
to enable me to love in return.

Love is not an emotion.
Love is a decision.
Making a decision to Love.
Is making Love.
Do you want to be a Love maker?

You haven't looked at me that way in years
You dreamed me up and left me here
How long was I dreaming for
What was it you wanted me for
You haven't looked at me that way in years
Your watch has stopped and the pond is clear
Someone turn the lights back on
I'll love you til all time is gone
You haven't looked at me that way in years
But I'm still here.
