We had our wedding anniversary yesterday
First time I can remember that we didn't have a family meal out
But we had a Connie invasion instead.
And her Mum
and two glimpses of Joy before she went to Argentina for a long time.
All beautiful
Also Joan was run-down, cold as well.
And this marriage -
46 years and it won't last.
We are not just compatible!
She is a great human
we love each other more than ever.
We get on so well - no hassles or niggles.
Love it. Love her.
We were driving along and talking.
We talk so much - and love it.

people keep asking about our girls.
How come so creative?
How come so lovely?
They travelled with us.
Over many years.
Educated the worst schools
The worst social deprivation
Harsh inner city
and they are fantastic.
How have we coped?
How have they coped?
We talked in the car ......
I stumble words to explain.
Because I don't understand.
The Sheilas so special:
One TV Director
One a Fashion Stylist.
Both most wondrous.
Both beautiful humans.
I believe we can be
Knowledgeable
and not
intelligent.
We can be
intelligent
but not
knowledgeable.
Both are preferred, of course -
but which gets you through life and love better?
It seems that living in communities
Living on the edge
has many many benefits
