in my arms
in my ears.
I am listening to
a BBC Radio documentary
about him
as I do jobs
cleaning car
loading up
and ......
The lighting gantry crashed on him
as he was plugging in to perform
with his band
and me there too
because his wife was telling about this.
As a result he was confined to using
a wheel chair
but he kept on writing.

I feel sad at his loss.
beautiful because of all he was
and still is
through is music.
