Every job I have taken on over the years I have composed a Mission Statement.
This job was a six months job filling in for someone on sabbatical.
It was when I left my full time job nearly ten years ago, to go freelance.
I was as CSD Lead worker with YMCA England.
Here it is - have a go at one for your job. It helps to focus on mission not tasks only.
Mission Statement
CHRISTIAN AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
The mission of the CSD unit is to support the development of
all individuals within the YMCA,
Individual YMCA communities and
the English YMCA movement:-
• Spiritually
• Christianly
• Wholistically
Objectives
· To create a Buzz in YMCA England individual YMCA Communities
about wholistic development which includes opportunities and
faith development.
· To bring warmth to the cold and the cool
· Quench the thirsty
· Excite the soul
· Inspire all to take risks for their own development
· Encourage all to become a CSD taker and a CSD maker
Stimulate feelings and thoughts about a creator God who loves and wants for them.
