My favourite venue at Greenbelt Festival.

Keston Cobblers Club

Greenbelt 2013 Focus: Performance Cafe

In the last few days before our great April ticket discounts come to an end, we’re going to shine a spotlight on just a few areas of this year’s festival programme – just to remind you what wonderful value Greenbelt is and to nudge you to get online and book your tickets at the best possible prices.
Greenbelt has proved to be a great place to discover new music in its forty-year history – festivalgoers have seen early gigs by Ed Sheeran, Moby and Luke Sital-Singh, among many others. It’s a tradition embodied most in our Performance Cafe venue. So make sure you check out its brand new location this year, sample that intimate, magical vibe, and discover your new favourite artist in 2013.
We’ve got some new announcements for you, too. Joining us in the Performance Cafe will be brass-laced mod-folk from The Keston Cobblers Club, bittersweet songcraft from Rachael Dadd, and Folk Awards-winner Lucy Ward; plusSimonne and the Dark StarsMaiaAndy WhiteSteve LawsonStylusboy,Tim EveleighThe GrenawaysHot FeetJacob Lloyd and Joshua Luke Smith. There will also be a specially-selected showcase of artists from north of the border, curated by our sister festival Solas.
These artists join previously announced acts EskaGrace Petrie and more to form an exceptionally strong and varied lineup – everything from folk to soul and world music, songs of contemplation and celebration.
