...... and I have a busy week ahead with a spectrum of group work with those special humans with special needs and staff training and planning for other such evens ........ and I love it love it.

I was asked, this week, if I was happy to be busy and I gave an instant yes!

I also like our chill time and, as you may have picked up, a wondrous love of the latest vibes hmmm ...........

I have a 'road less travelled' course coming up and that is always a big challenge.
It is a 'life management course'.
It is about sharing life as a group of humans.
It is about taking the mask off for a period.
About learning from that reality.
New awareness.
New skills.
Autonomy.
Experiencing a true climate of trust.
Release from the childhood agendas.
Experiencing the liberation of being open.
Being able to step forward in life with more positiveness.

I facilitate.
I churn.
I learn.

... I was driving away to go on a long journey in these last few recent days and ....... I felt a bit sick ....... so the water was drunk as I drove along the M25 ........ then I realised I had other feelings ......

I listed them in my head ..... sick/tired/irritable/slow/humpy/resentful ....... not nice feelings but blurred in that they were there but mixed up in the activity of the moment ....... then I realised that I had named the feelings, put words to them - named them, and I felt better because I had taken them from my gut to my head.
I had recognised them - owned them ....... and I became settled ...... and concentrated on the drive.

Life lesson;
Name them feelings as they happen.
own them.
admit them.
THAT in itself is a process of releasing these emotionally .....
I felt good.

....... it is a bit like the 'beautiful imperfection' concept really ..... unless we accept our beautiful imperfection we will run into trouble in all our life and especially in relationships.
We are beautiful.
We are imperfect.
Both.

The other is also.
Differently beautiful.
Differently imperfect.
We need to be aware that
"I'm ok - you're ok"


If we decide we don't like a human person because they are imperfect -
-
We end up not liking ourselves.

Mother in Law, Joyce, is looking stronger in this special rehab place. They are getting her ready for home. Us too. A new bed downstairs - a change around of the furniture to fit and I guess a lot more visits to this region of glass production, Rugby League, Vanilla Slices, Meat and Potato Pies, Mushy Peas, Joan & pip productions ....... principally Joy an Ann.

.... yesterday ..... daughter Joy texted from S Africa saying she had visited Robin Iseland and the old cell of Mandela - where he spent 27 years for our Freedom ......... as humans in the world ..... our freedom.

..... I remember sitting on the carpet with the kids as we watched TV as Nelson Mandela walk out after 27 years in prison ....... and weeping deeply

....... I remember going as a family to watch 'Cry Freedom' the movie ....... and sobbing in that west end cinema as Steve Bilko was battered to death because he stood for justice ..........

I remember playing The Specials 'Free Nelson Mandela' video - year after year - at Greenbelt in the VERY STINKING LATE SHOW that Martin Wroe and I used to 'front' ..........

I remember sitting with late teens/early twenties young people and telling them about Nelson Mandela because they did not know who he was ......... this week ...... that was this week!

I will remember today for a long time; MAKING POVERTY HISTORY...... the kick off ...... and telling everyone about it EVEN when I could not go myself - STINK.

On the 15th of January I slipped on a white wristband at a Greenbelt Trustees meeting and will not remove till it - or I - disintegrate!

(I heard on the radio that Wayne Rooney - who plays that 'round ball game' ....... I heard he had a similar one on this week when he did a goal or two for the reds. Apology about referencing football - it is not my game!)

So the year ahead needs us to do more than wearing a wristband ... now? ..... how can I make poverty history in my lifetime hmmmm ...... have you read my few words called;

JAMELIA TO SING FOR MANDELA IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE

Jamelia will stage a special, one-off performance tomorrow Thursday, 3 February at 12h00 in honour of Nelson Mandela's public address in Trafalgar Square. The occasion marks an important moment in the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Campaign for 2005.

Nelson Mandela will speak to a crowd expected to be in their thousands and call on governments of the powerful G8 countries not to miss this opportunity in 2005 to bring an end to world poverty.

It will be a special occasion .....
