................... I stroked a little black kitten today
I looked into a persons eyes when they were opening up to me - and they were unseeing because they were looking into their soul .... .....
I saw a person in front of me take two deep breaths and drink in that eternal pause between them ....... and they shared with me ......
I was with a person exploring options when there was none ....... then when I said there may be ....... they looked saw a blank wall - and then a handle appeared in that wall - then a door - and then they peeked and saw through the slightly open door .......... an option with light shining in ......
I saw a woman with a beard on the tube train .......... not the stereotypical attractive woman ....... and a young man who stood to let her elderly frame sit down ....
I played Brazilian music all day today on my commuting iPod ......
I spent time with a human from Kurdistan .......
I spent time with a human from Brazil .......
I spent time with a human with a migraine ......
I spent time with a human from the Ukraine .....
I stroked a wee black kitten today in the street and it loved it .........

I love how this photo brings the paperwork into the frame ........

.... I feel naked ....... not being able to lift the pix onto my blogs and it just not the same ..

............ so here is a pic from the Greenbelt meeting which dribbled out of the corner of my mouth about in my blog just a bit below this blog ... ......

......you are beautiful ....

Trouble is - only a few believe this ::
Even less 'feel' it ::

Pip Wilson ::
"I love these humans on the pic ....."

.
.... Greenbelt meeting and ....... reflecting - it was a place to be ......

....... and become ..............

We are a group of unique and precious humans - led by committed and talented individuals ........ and the blend of all this and these ............ well .......

The outcome is a festival over 4/5 days in summer but it is far more than that.
We yearn together to deliver a festival which will fee stretch and bless us and those not like any of us.
Together with another 2000 volunteers - we drink at the well of life and love - and work our socks into holes.

Have a look.
and
if you have never been
and
tasted
and
dipped the toe
Consider ........

It will not be as you expect ....
It will not be as you want
It will not be just great
It will be ................................. inarticulate me ........

Dance like no-one is watching
Sing like no-one is listening
and
Love like you have never been hurt.

ALL I need to know about life
I learned from a
Cow

If it's good, milk it for all it's worth
Successful people are "moo-vers and shakers"
Don't be just one of the herd
The cream always rises to the top
Don't stoop to a barnyard mentality
It's better to have milked and churned than to have never milked at all
If you need to get somewhere, hoof it
Some days can be udder frustration
If you're feeling low, moo yourself a little song
Chew your food 50 times before swallowing
Don't let others corrall you
Munch hay while the sun shines
He who lives with the herd learns to watch his step
Following your heart will always steer you in the right direction
Party 'till the cows come home
Live for-heifer young
Here a moo, there a moo, every where a moo-moo

Privilege .. .. ..
Beautiful
............. today Joan and me were invited to a special event.
A Privilege.

I was invited to receive an award, like an Oscar or Grammy...... maybe a Bafta!
It was a Presentation from the Albanian Community in London - the ones who publish the newspaper 'The Albanian' which is circulated here in the UK and in Albania. The cameras whirred and flashed and the speeches given. The Albanian Ambassador was the Chief guest and I was given top-of-the-bill slot to speak.

It was all due to their recognition that when they first came to the UK some eight years ago, from the slaughtering Kosova, they found refuge in a community which I led and Joan was the Chair of the International Committee. Thousands were driven from their homes in that land - thousands more slaughtered.

They reminded me of the trauma they were in - as if I didn't remember.
They were voiceless- no English, the poorest of the poor- no possessions, scared - surrounded by others who only knew the London/UK context.
They remember and so do I.

Now they are working like mad to integrate themselves into the British culture.
Working hard - and also working hard to support many of their own people so that they can also integrate into our multi-racial population.

It was great to be with them.

You yani person ebuko

Don't look at these photos because they are factual evidence of the genocide ....
