I ask people::

Most people I ask
say that they do not feel beautiful. The media image bombardment can leave us all feeling on the imperfection side of things.
Rightly so.
Because we are.
We all are
beautiful imperfection.

But feeling good in the soul is good.
Sometimes not available.
But believing we are beautiful helps.
More humans
tell me that they
believe they are beautiful.

It took me until 40 years old
before I accepted myself
before I accepted
that I was beautiful.

Grace ........

It helped knowing I was loved.
But what about NOW?
- here at late night
Wilson Mansions?
Tired before I creep to bed?

I pause and dig the soul ...
I have layers of life ,
like tree trunk,
all need to be passed through -
all need to be cracked open
until I get to the heart of me.
To the soul of me.
The eternal part of me.

I feel that this human is creative
I feel that this human is special
I feel that this human is mysterious
I feel that this human is unconditionally loved
I feel that this human is beautiful .........
Take some time to dig into your soul.
Practice it.
Find the richness within.
Not our layers of failure
layers of regretted behaviour
layers of woundedness
layers of emotional hardening
and you will find a beautiful human.

Grace ............................

Children who offend need our help – not our hatred

However much we sympathise, the fury of those who have been affected by crime should not find its way into government policy, says Mark Johnson

Denise Fergus The government must not mistake the empathy we feel for Denise Fergus's loss with sympathy for her views, says Mark Johnson.

We need to realign services so that we work with offenders or potential offenders earlier in the offending cycle. Earlier interventions are likely to cost far less and be far more effective.

Hating and containing them is easy.

Both are easy vote-catchers.

But these are sick children.

Our object should be to care for them so that they can change and get well.

FEELINGS ARE SIGNALS
We can respond to the signal/signals in only two ways::

1 Positively
2 Negatively
3 Three does not exist because, to not respond at all, is to respond negatively.

Here is a Blob Tree Tool which shows both responses to a signal/feeling.
By carefully studying the illustrations you will get into the range of possible responses. You may think of more from your own experiences.

The next thing is to make a decision.
How to respond.
To hide the feelings/signals is a negative experience.

Try it - give it a go.

( will leave this © 'Blob Signals' here for only a few days)
