..... teachers ...... Parents ....... Adults, in general, have a massive negative influence upon the youngest of humans ......... and I hate to see it going on so - how parents can brutalise their own ......... bully those who are not able to respond back or in anyway defend themselves.
I was in a training group ..........
I was introducing a method to enable all present to have an equal/participative say in things.
So often the loud speakers dominate and the quiet or not so confident often have little say.
It happens in all groups and teams.
That is why the leader must fall over themselves to be non-oppressive.
Seek maximum inclusion and involvement.
As a leader of teams over the years - I always included, in the Senior Management Team, Trainee Staff who took their turn to Chair the Senior Team Meeting. (yes - I did not always chair - I only took my turn with EVERYONE else. They were also on the rota to lead a devotion - always on the rota to lead the Bible Study which always started the meeting.
I was in a Training group ........
and one youth worker said .......... if I use these methods, of involving everyone in a participative way -
