WHEN YOU LOSE SOMEONE.

‎"You will lose someone
you can’t live without,
and your heart will be badly broken,
and the bad news is
that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved.
But this is also the good news.
They live forever in your broken heart
that doesn’t seal back up.
And you come through.
It’s like having a broken leg
that never heals perfectly—
that still hurts when the weather gets cold,
but you learn to dance with the limp."

Powerful model to transpose into any Social and Emotional work.

This is so powerful for me. This is the sort of stuff I strive to do with teens and twenties who have been bruised and broken by life circumstances. Those who live in a bubble of homelessness, cannabis, alcohol, routine of waking up in a morning with nothing to do AND maybe petty crime or WORSE !!

If we have any commitment to participation and involvement (because we desire that humans can have opportunities to grow their life and interior life) - just transpose this model into your work. It is a fantastic exciting journey for these kids and anyone who has the opportunity. hmmmmmm

The opposite to LEVEL FIVE COMMUNICATION

Bobby Hossain writes book of letters from prison.

"An emotional and educational read that charts an individuals struggle with anger and the challenging environment that they are forced to live in.
The book offers solutions; useful tools and antidotes that we can employ as individuals to help us know ourselves and 'shore up' that Achilles heel.
The book encourages us to take that leap of faith and rise from the ashes bathed in the knowledge of self worth and self discovery."

young people developing and growing into whole persons

Powerful article about kids leaving 'Care'.
Anyone interested in children and young people developing and growing into whole persons need to read and shudder.
Terrible about the cost and moreso the strategy of governments and private companies involved to go for the lowest kind of care.

Think when you was 16 !
Needs.
Basic human needs
Food Clothing Shelter AND the vital social emotional and spiritual needs.
Read it.

'Who profits from being in care?

It's not the children. '

121's in collision - Pipology.

.... and here I am meeting with a bunch of beautiful humans this week ALL in a 121 situation. I love my group work and will always consider that as what I do - but the 121's is special. I drink at the well of colliding in a relationship which has the potential for learning and growth and depth and ......... everything I desire!

If you are ever in London let me know. A coffee - a bite at lunch time - a beautiful experience of connecting. Love it love it.

See you soon then ?
