Cristiano Ronaldo, so sad, has written off his Ferrari in a crash near Manchester Airport this last week. The 23-year-old winger was driving the sports car through a tunnel beneath the runways when he smashed into a barrier. So great for him that his team-mate Edwin van der Sar was following in his Bentley ....... why don' these humans stand up for crushed humans in Gaza?

These car drivers were travelling around Wilmslow and Alderley Edge in Cheshire. They one of many rich a famous who live around there. One of them lives in a £3.5 million mansion, complete with a cinema, gym and games room and American themed kitchen. It also has seven plasma screen TVs and a £30,000 state-of-the-art security system.

We used to live around there.
Joy was born in the local hospital.

Did I ever crash my Ferrari?
Did we have multiple plasmas?
Swimming pool and gym?

Yes - I admit we had a swimming pool and extensive grounds including cricket and football pitch.
We had many rooms.
Growing our own vegetables.
We had many staff working night and day.

Yes - all that is true but Joan and me, and later Little baby Sheila, lived in a prison type provision for young humans. 120 residents and many residential staff including us.
We had burned the bridges by then.
Sold up our mortgaged house, we had owned for only a year, and we lived and worked in residence there.
Regularly I used to take the young human residents on walks in the countryside after Sunday lunch. We were in a wonderland of 'the most beautiful village in England' type places. All they wanted was to get back to Manchester as soon a possible.

Late night memories from Wilson Mansions.
