Emotionally draining day yesterday.
So beautiful too.

A few of us travelled to the Church where Ann and Simon married.
It was a regular Mass but with Dominic, Ann's brother, officiating.
Ann Mae and Ben conducted the readings and it was a great experience.

Afterwards we went in convoy to the cemetery in warm sunshine.
We gathered around the grave.
Dominic said a few words, Ben and Mae both played violins, and we all flashed back in time to remember a special time with Simon.

There was Bob and big and beautiful Sibel, baby due 27/8, and little Uzay.
Mark and Deb. Angie and Joan and me from our group.
Others were with us, close family and friends.
Beautiful together.

We travelled then to the family home and spent some time hanging out and eating some great home-made food.
We gathered and watched a DVD which Ben had created which scanned the whole of Simon's life in pictures and music.

Most of the above is just facts, Level Two communication, but it was L5 throughout.
We wept.
We had prickles in our eyes.
We felt our heads flood with emotion with no escape.
We remembered Simon in the best of his times.
We remembered Simon in his most vulnerable.
We were joined at the hip by this invisible, but most powerful, sense of emotion - family - belonging - friendship..........

Words cannot express the day.
It was an experience.
It disturbed my comfortable
It comforted my disturbed
But I would not have missed it for the world - and for Simon.
