Remembering
Simon Slade::

You may have heard about the
Level Five Group?

You may have heard about the communication concept I am always promoting called 'Level Five?

The L5 Group will be 30 years old next year, 2010.
We met in 1980 and have been meeting ever since.

On Sunday, 2nd August, we are remembering one of our precious members who died ten years ago.
He was a member of the first team who launched The Rolling Magazine at the Greenbelt Festival.
We all spent time together and we saw Simon change uniquely, as we all did, including him meeting Ann who he later married.
Some years later Simon, our Level Five Friend was dying. He had decided to come off dialysis because it was causing so much pain and he knew he was not really living - nor his family - Ann, Ben aged 5 and Mae under one year old.

Simon died on 2nd August 1999. Joan and I went to the Christening of his daughter Mae before he died.
He died before she was one years old.
He was 35.

On Sunday there is a special Mass in the family church in East London. We will enjoy a chatty BBQ after.
Several of our group members will be there.
It will be a special day.

A share a few photos here. Simon at Greenbelt. Simon in 1980. Simon with us lot. Younger older.
Also the last photograph taken with all his family before he passed ten years ago.

Remembering Simon Slade - beautiful human person.
