In January Beit Arabiya the home to the Shawamreh family and a peace centre, was demolished for the fifth time in 15 years by the Israeli authorities.

The peace centre at Beit Arabiya is run by the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, and the house has come to symbolise Palestinian resistance to home demolitions and unity between the two communities. Beit Arabiya will be rebuilt next summer by both local people and international volunteers.

Come and hear the story of Beit Arabiya and the shocking facts about home demolition from Jeff Halper, director and founder of the ICAHD.
