Christmas came to Wilson Mansions today.
The Christmas Tree went up.
So much to say - so little time .......

Churning

Reflecting.
I was the man in the mirror Yesterday.
I called at Joys who lives locally!
I gave her a hand getting stuff from her loft.
I was half way up the ladder
with a big box in my arms
and the ladder started falling towards me.
Behind me was Joys
antiquey kind of mirror,
a big one she has had for years.
As I fell backwards, holding the box,
my tough U2 jacket smashed into the mirror.
I sat there hearing dropping shards all around me.
No one hurt.
Not the man in the mirror -
just the mirror!
Joy is reluctant to fly away -
she is going to the Maldives,
only back on 22nd December.
She has had her skates on
to prep for Christmas here
and a swimwear shoot there.
I guess she will be working in her bikini there
why we are shivery wet and cold over here.
But we will be seeing her
and little Sheila, later tonight.

We meet up for a Joy birthday meal
just before she flies out.
(I have a Greenbelt Curry clash so
I will be attending late, direct from Brick Lane.)
Ann will be there with her bump -
my future Grandchild - still hiding away -
but looking enormous ..............
She is still working the edit
for the new year Gok show on TV.
Ready to stop work soon
Ready to burst soon
Ready to enjoy Christmas soon
with us all.
