Beautiful Anna, a friend, has been working on a film for a very long time.
It's about the grooming and trafficking of British girls within the UK.
It's not a nice subject, and while conviction rates are low,
it is a very difficult subject to talk about because those who are convicted
are likely to come from one particular ethnic community:
the British Pakistani community.
Every takes a deep breath.

I hope you'll watch the film
and see that while Anna's rage
about these serious crimes is fully justified,
she has worked her socks off
to find members of the British Pakistani community
who are not only willing to condemn the crimes on camera,
but are actually doing something about it.

It's a tough watch,
but this can't stay under the carpet together.
It's on Channel 4 at 10:30pm on Monday night.
Don't watch it with your kids.
Or maybe?
