No late night sips of Cointreau for me these past weeks.
It is Peppermint tea Pip from early morning until late night.
I love it.

I wonder how you are before I slip into stepping down the road of reflection and un-peeling the Onion called Pip Wilson. I don't know what is going in here (thumps his chest) but there is lots. I don't know what to click but
what I start leads to something which surprises me and feeds my soul.

GO::
I posted my status on facebook today::
'We can see a persons behaviour but cannot see their experience.'
This helps me to be reminded that I must not be drawn-in by behaviour, but see beyond behaviour.
My experience with
1:: the most violent
2:: the most obnoxious
3:: the most scary humans
tells me that they are scared of so much in their lives and, the 1/ 2 /3 examples above, are just armour plating.

We get distracted by behaviour and
don't see
beyond the behaviour
to see why
the behaviour.
Behaviour is at both ends of the spectrum of life::
A:: Human Clean
and
Z:: Human Violent.
All driven by their hidden interior.

And here we are just judging the behaviour and not seeing the hurting human inside.
But between the A and the Z
we reside.
I reside just stumbling through with eyes that see but don't really see.
Ears that hear - but don't really.
Love that only is expressed openly with those who are in our social strata.
Those we like.

How can we love the unlovely?
How can we take one step towards a human who we instinctively wish to step away from.
It is not bad breath we are scared of - it is behaviour.
And, probably, those same persons have experience, most humans in their lives, -
STEPPING AWAY.
Sadly it has also, so often, been their parents too.

Can you imagine what it feels like to experience this all your life?
We need more lovers ...........................

Obama went to Russia earlier this week.
He is stepping outside his comfort zones to connect with those who who most humans in the US, and the western world, would consider to have bad breath. He is driven by a mission not personal feelings.

It reminds me of a typical dining room at a YMCA hostel. Often full of beautiful humans who have needs and have experienced rejection.
Where do you sit when you turn from the cafeteria tray slide and face the room?
Alone?
With humans you know?
With those on the rowdy table?
With the silently alone human who you know never joins in a conversation?
The one where bad vibes resides following a recent conflict?

I can tell which table Obama will sit on - can you?
Do you?
Where do you sit?

If you transpose this to your own context::
own street
own community
own workplace
own friendship group, yes even in a group there is the chosen ones and ..........

5 Words to describe my life at the moment.
Only words.
You can dig into them and, from your own experience of life, read deeper into them.

Pip::
Removals
Mission
Fog
Faith
Believe.

How about you clicking this way and I will post them in a blog?
The experience for you will be like undressing -
undressing the soul.

Derek sends me 5 - (which has stimulated me to dribble mine out for you).

Derek::
listening
becoming (though not always aware of this)
frustrated
loved
wondering

.......... and you?

My beautiful, I feel shame calling him a friend, yet he was ....... and always will be,
John O Donohue, now departed from us physically, puts it like this::
'So often we build prisons for ourselves.
We blame others for our confines,
but it us who constrict ourselves all along.
Most of the walls in our lives we build ourselves.
But sometimes,
just once in a while,
we get a glimpse of the infinity of the universe and know that God is at work.
That's when we must choose to stay in the prison or grasp the risk'

Dance like no-one is watching
Sing like no-one is listening
and
Love like you have never been hurt.
