We often stand at the bottom of the cliff.
Humans fall over.
We do the first aid.
We bandage the injured.
Even love them if we have capacity.
THOUGHT::
Why not place a fence at the top of the cliff?
Why not a mission to be preventative.
Not first aid.
TRANSPOSE::
that into your own context.

T2A Alliance is launching a major new report which recommends measures to improve the way we deal with young adults in conflict with the law. For too long the state has in effect abandoned some of the most vulnerable people in our society, contributing to the creation of a young adult underclass.

We need to radically rethink the way young adults from difficult backgrounds are supported in order to offer them viable routes out of poverty and crime, and into productive lives. Better prevention, more creative community sentences and more constructive help within prison and after release are among our proposals.
