I lurve this singer

Our girl Andreya Triana's come a long way since the Academy in Melbourne '06. From collabs with FlyLo to her first longplayer. To mark the release of her debut album, a launch was held in London with friends, family and fans in attendance. Kieran Yates took notes and Evgeniy Kazannik snapped the action. Here's their verdicts:

Andreya Triana is undoubtedly one of the most exciting female voices emerging from the soulful depths of London’s underground right now. Featuring on the SBTV ‘A64’ series, gracing the Red Bull Music Academy podcast, and touring with Bonobo, she is definitely has a quality of something special. I caught her performing with Bonobo earlier in the year at The Roundhouse and I’m not too proud to say that I may have shed at a little tear at those husky vocals...ahem. Anyway, I’m hooked. Cue excitement then, last Friday when Andreya stepped out on her own at Café OTO in Dalston for the launch of her new album, Lost Where I Belong.
