FEELINGSDisturbed again
after watching the
BBC Newsnight report
on the August RIOTS.
I have no collated opinions
about the horrific events.
It is so easy to blast forth with opinions.
I do have some experience
of being amongst
young offenders
street gangs
aggressive and violent humans
and those who get excited in disorder. ....
and I love them dearly.
I feel for so many young humans
The situation they are in
being caught up
crime
unemployment
fear
threat
poor environment
dysfunctional lifestyles with
few resources to bring to
becoming community makers
instead of community takers or breakers -
living on the edge of society.
I do believe
they are not all they can become.
I believe that they can change.
They can develop out of a
poverty that imprisons their spirit.
I could write book on
reasons
and
causes
and
solutions.
It needs a combination of wisdom
of the streets
of those in need
and including
sinners
and those
sinned against.
They have so much to offer.
'Seek the Shalom of the city
where I have sent you
because,
in it's Shalom
you will find your own
Shalom'.
