The effects of the devastating Nepal earthquake are becoming clearer: more than 7,000 people have been killed and thousands more have been injured. Homes and businesses have been destroyed and many are homeless. An estimated 8 million people have been affected by the earthquake.
Whilst the death toll continues to rise, many more people are in urgent and desperate need of aid. They are in shock, tired and hungry. They need food, clean water, medical care and shelter. They need your help.
Nepal YMCA are leading relief and rehabilitation work in areas affected by the earthquake. The YMCA is helping families through distribution of food, clean water, medicines and tents to those in need.
£7 could help to provide families with non-food items such as blankets and cooking equipment.
£20 could help to provide plastic sheeting to build a temporary emergency shelter for a family.
£33 could help to provide a family with food for one month.
