Greenbelt Festival - get some of this

Testament, Blake

The metre’s still runnin’ – four young acts making waves, and at the festival this summer

Rhythm, resonance and relevance are three dynamic characteristics of four formidable performers who will pick up a microphone at Boughton House for Greenbelt 2015 this August. They will slam, rap, let rip and roar – each in their own distinctive ways.
. . . is known the world over as a force of musical nature. His jaw-dropping, high energy, live performance of beatbox pyrotechnics drags you in, hauls you along, and leaves you breathless, but inspired.
He is at the very top of his game, having collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Bjork, Damon Albarn, Jarvis Cocker, Martha Wainwright, and Ed Shearan. And this year at Greenbelt he is collaborating with some of the smallest.
Shlomo, to everyone’s delight, is bringing his new show, Beatboxing Adventures For Kids, to the festival. He’ll be generously sharing, his gifts, techniques and boundless enthusiasm with children, who will be encouraged to join in and discover the joys of beatboxing for themselves.
