I was in Starbucks today
The coffee house who don't provide fair trade coffee unless you ask.

Behind me I heard
"Don't you wind me up - you are going to spoil my day"
It was a man, of course, talking to his wife.
grrrrr

I firmly believe that others do not make us feel
"You made me feel terrible ......." is often said.
These are our feelings and they come from within
maybe triggered by a comment -
or a 'put down' like in Starbucks.

When we get a surge of feelings
it is so easy to blame another human.
Better, it seems to me, is to clock them feelings,
then decide what to do with them rather than -
letting them take control of our mouth -
and in some cases violence.

Had a day off today and went to Bluewater,
a big big shopping hall.
I visited the Apple Store.
It was rammed. The Sony Shop was empty.
In the Apple Shop I was watching the queues of humans,
waiting for their iPhones to be locked up tight,
all to avoid them being unlocked so any sim can be used
- and therefore cheaper calls and more.
Mine, the old version, is unlocked.
I need to get it upgraded with latest features and unlocked again.

It says outside the Apple Shop - new iPhones being delivered daily.
I may get one further down the line,
I love some of the new features,
and a Sheila can have mine.

Big game tomorrow night.
My team are playing away to the Pie Eaters,
at the Pie Dome in Wigan.
It is always a big derby game.
If we lose we may slip to second in the Super League.
The week after, watch it on BBC TV,
we play Leeds in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup
- the Wembley turf awaits us.
I am nervous.
