The Sheilas
....... that is what they call themselves since visiting Australia some long years ago.
'Hey Sheila', one says, 'have you heard from Sheila?' the other says.

Ann, on the right above - and in the pram below, we went to see the Saints thrash 'The Quins' 54 - zero yesterday at the Twickenham Stoop. It was great being with her and Dave and, because we were starving , after the game we called at a little French Bistro and had a great chatty catch-up meal.
Joan missed out because she is in the North with her fragile Mother - but she did watch the game on TV.

Because of the good win we went to the top of the SUPER LEAGUE which is Rugby League (for some who may think I support the other game of rugby which loses the ball under a mass of bodies and makes the game so boring zzzzzz.)

Sheila, Joy on the left above and outside the pram below*, was in a litle Beach Hut by the sea where Joan and me had a great day last Tuesday - seems so long ago.

I
love
my
Sheilas ......

*this Pipturesque was taken in Monte Carlo - we used to take kids from deprived backgrounds on trips to South of France, Italian Riviera, Switzerland and here!
