Cilla Black has confessed to forking out more than £5,000 in her quest to buy designer jeans.
The 65-year-old TV presenter revealed on Channel 4's Gok Wan's Fashion Fix she once paid a fortune to get a pair of bespoke jeans from the US.
Cilla said: "I have to have bespoke jeans, I have to have really expensive jeans because I live in my jeans when I'm not on camera."
She added: "I have actually paid over £5,000 to go to New York to get my American jeans. I'm not joking, I'm ashamed."
Gok replied: "Basically, that's about £5,300 for one pair of jeans. You've got the most expensive behind in the industry!"
Cilla is persuaded by Gok - on the show which airs tonight (May 5) - to try a pair of Topshop jeans and a leather jacket.
Cilla says: "I love it, love it, love it. Look at this rock chick! I'm looking at myself and I'm saying 'bring on the boys!'."
