West Africa food crisis appeal — we urgently need to raise £500,000
Dear friend,

As you may have heard in the news, ten million people across west Africa are facing severe food shortages. Caused by a combination of cyclical drought, irregular harvests and high food prices, the crisis has been building for some time, but it is now escalating across the region.

Niger is among the worst-hit countries, with as many as 400,000 children at risk of starvation, but the impact of the crisis is also being felt in parts of Burkina Faso, Mali, Chad and Nigeria.

We urgently need to help people affected by this crisis to avoid a catastrophe. Please give what you can

Please donate whatever you can today.
