I am always going on about the inner and the outer person in us all.
Admit, I will, that we have both.
One we share with others.
Another is the real.
Outside the UK you may not know
that there is a scandal here
about child sex abuse
by a popular figure - TV personality
A show-man/charity worker
all warm and fun......... BUT....
Now, after his death, he was discovered to have been a prolific abuser of Children and young teenagers.
It makes me feel sick.
Especially when the TV here keeps rolling images of him onto our screens,
showing him in all his silly false image/poses.
ALL PRETENCE.
ALL A LIE.
ALL A MASK.
What an outer and a inner had he?
Disclosing to the public 'a fun guy'
yet addicted to oppressive sexual abuse with minors - for years!
I have worked with Survivors over many years.
I have friends who are survivors and privileged that the have shared their stories/the damage/the hurt/the lingering .......
All of us need to work on joining up our inner and outer selves.
Less pretence - more Level Five because that's what L5 is.
Living reality and not a LIE!!!
It stirs in me the desire to be more open.
Be more honest about my vulnerabilities
(Vulnerability is a strength not a weakness I believe).
What about you?

The inner you - more joined up with the public you?
