Big John's Taverna
Last year and this year in Parga we frequented this Taverna during our holiday.
Today I told Big John that he was the spitting image of my friend in the UK called Big John.
Same shape, hair cut, facial features and big - he patted his gut and laughed.
It turned out that is name was really Big Nikos.

Toasting.
It is hot here - about 34 today.
This, is in a glass type, toasting and something I have done a bit of over the years but Joan and me are regularly doing this during our drawn-out wondrous meals together.

So Joan raises her glass and I follow. We chink together and it turns out she has the same one as me .............. not always.
Synergetic eh?

During the holiday these have come up and more::
The Saints
The Sheilas
Wroes
Tsar
Zig
Greenbelt
Rochester humans
Big John and Richard
Greece .............

I have not confined my mind to hospitalisation during the holidays.
My mind churns like the washing machine that it is.
But, during the holidays, I have cut down on the washing.

One thought line has been about two experience I had last week when I was responsible to lead two groups.
On one day is was a group telling the story of their life in ten minutes in terms of how they have connected, or not, to religion or religious humans.
Another day it was a group who shared the story of their lives in terms of how they messed up - usually with the help of others.
Both group experiences have left behind a finger print on my soul. Dwelling there, in that special place where we need touching, are a wondrous experiences from purely listening to stories. It was like having a 'ten minute Level Five'.
These are the words I scrawled in my little book about the experiences as we hung out at Big Johns::
powerful
liberating
releasing
gripping
movie-like
enticing
opening
developing
beautiful

My mind created a new Show for Greenbelt::
"10 Minute L5 Story-time"
Imaging a tent full of humans - most placing their name inside a balled piece of paper in my cap.
One is drawn out of my cap and I interview them - just to get them going and focusing on different stages of their lives.
Six are drawn out of the hat in an hour - one after someone's story has been poured.
We all become knocked out by listening to humans and snatches of their lives at certain crossroads.
No 'yesbuts'
No 'shoulds'
No 'aughts'

............................ a giant finger print on your soul ............... how does it sound to you ........

A Toast
"I drink to your story ..........."
