The Call’s Michael Been Dead at 60
Oklahoma City-native Michael Been, lead singer of The Call, passed away today in Belgium.
Been, the father of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club bassist Robert Levon Been, had been serving as the band’s sound engineer. After their performance at the Belgian festival Pukkelpop, he suffered a massive heart attack in the backstage area.
