This week it is half term for the schools in the UK.

Strange week
Good week
Beautiful humans
Stretch is one word.

For the first time ever
I had no gigs this week.
It has been a
Sort of half-term.
This coming week it is half term for the schools in the UK. All schools, pupils and teachers, will be off into head-space/leisure/recovery/crime/and I hope the latter it is not the teachers!

I had this week and I was domestic me.
I don't do domestic/DIY/getting hands dirty =
gardening/painting/working - ugh!
But this week it has been
all week!

This week it was all in focus.
We have received a mortgage
me! at my age! - a mortgage!
That means I need to live for 15 years to pay it!!
Thank you Halifax for such a boost to my longevity!!

For nearly forty years we have lived in the job which has meant we could move according to the call - but that means we were also dependent on housing with the job. Through that journey I have been head-hunted to do a job - and usually on less money than the one before!
That means we didn't have to be responsible for the domestic fabric - usually, it has been being responsible for large community buildings rather than just domestic home. Maintenance teams. 24x7 duty cover. Architects, millions spent on refurbishing and renewing - but I have been a kept man.

NOW
We have a flat - ground floor - looks good - feels good - no garden - out of London ;-(
But it has not gone through yet - so not excited just
working to clear a three bed-roomed house to fit into a pint pot.
It would be good if all goes well.
Maybe in a few weeks it will be a signed up and we will be planning move.
That is why we have been working to reduce 44 years of married life collecting.
Two of our collected items
Joy and Ann - the Sheilas have been over for a day to help.
They are great supporters/advisers.
Much of their stuff and more,
is on the way to charity shops and other useful destinations.

It has been a long time since we have had both of them here together - a beautiful treat and they will also be with us tomorrow - Saturday.

So we are planning to reduce our belongings - and that is a big issue.
I know what I am doing with my documents/files/written work - still to do it of course (spent one week doing that bit so far), but I don't know what to do about my massive collection of books and CD's.
The books are a resource - the CD's are a collection. Stink - what do I do?
I have no space for them and the furniture which holds them in place.

All this 'home stuff' is happening and would not be without the support of key humans and other divine influences.
And you -
I appreciate you - being there and touching finger tips with me over the days and years.

Have a good half-term, holiday, working week - whatever you are doing - do it beautiful ................
