Before the formalities get under way, the Duke of Sussex has been inside the Green Drawing room at Buckingham Palace, meeting representatives from the 21 nations competing at next year's men's, women's and wheelchair World Cups.

He has been praising comedian Adam Hills' luscious facial hair. "One of the best manicured and styled beards I have ever seen," he says.

The 2021 Rugby League World Cup is set to be the biggest in the tournament's rich history, as the men's, women's and wheelchair tournaments run side by side for the first time.

Thirty-two teams, representing 21 nations, at 21 venues across the three competitions await their group stage fate in today's draw at Buckingham Palace.

England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are all represented across the formats, so there is plenty to keep your eyes out for.
