Went to see Jill Scott live at The Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Went with the London Resident Sheila - Ann the TV Producer Director one
AND Mashup who we have been to several concerts with.
He is an excellent long term friend of the Sheilas. Ann used to share a flat with him for sometime.
Jill Scott was good.
She really connects with the audience.
She chats between the numbers - about her life.
Level 5 stuff.
Being honest about her divorce and hurts - her sexual aloneness.
She is open about sexual desires - not in a dirty sordid way - really open and vulnerable - explicit too.
I love her tunes/songs/lyrics.
After these clicks I will post the song 'He loves me' on my piPod here on my blog.
A strange ending to the gig. She sings a song that is unknown to us all. She has the audience singing - it is virtually a Gospel song - but not explicit ............ strange but with intrigue ............
