I am in full focus
Scanning options.
Scanning within my soul
Scanning my experience
Scanning the unknown
Scanning the untried
and
Scanning my Apple Mac.

I suppose I will not know
how and what to do
so I will busk it
(moved by the spirit if you prefer)
or the seat of my pants.

I know I will feel failure.
I know I will have moments of satisfaction
I know it will be hard work
I relish.

I am working with the
hard to reach
with
difficult behaviour.
I say 'in need'.

"Being subject to relentless prejudice and disregard makes people hard on the outside and inevitably produces emotional handicap.
The expression of this handicap is undoubtedly violence.
This book helps towards understanding what makes people violent and some ways of coping with it.
It is a profoundly Christian viewpoint and has nothing to do with ‘do-gooders’ being soft.
The reader will find very little softness experienced by the night and day commitment of youth workers like Pip and Joan and their colleagues.
It is much softer option, and infinitely more patronising to dismiss those who show such love as do-gooders."
