YMCA & Armenian Young Humans changed my life.

Yesterday I met Lucie in London.
We met in 1998 in Armenia and again when I was there in 2001.
We have not seen each other since but she was coming to work/train in London for a week and we collided.

I worked with a group from Georgia and Armenia - all young humans who responded so well to my style of facilitation with objectives of growth and development. She reminded me as we chatted in the London pub, about the lasting impact of experiential exercises in a climate of trust. I remember it so well.

It is lasting for me also because it was after the Armenian experience that I decided to hand in my notice at Romford YMCA, giving 7 months notice, and then to lead my working life as a free lance worker - doing the things I love and I am best at.
Armenian Young Humans changed my life.

We had a great time catching up on our lives, Armenian YMCA and all things beautiful.
Hmmmmmmmmm
