the picture here is one from last years great evening in London Town.

Just been reading the new Greenbelt leaflet and a fine and wondrous one it is.
It really comes over well the whole of the festival
full of vibe
I want to be there
and I will.

Check it out online and get yourself on the mailing list
and
if you can
Consider a visit for a day
or
best bet
the whole week-end.

For about 15 years I used to front two shows at Greenbelt.
I designed them and evolved them and led 1o x two hour shows over the four day festival (+ a couple of extra late nights at both ends).
We had up to 40 humans in the team which included dancers, a film crew, games crew, lights and video projection and Dave the DJ/VDJ.
One was called
"The Rolling Magazine"
....... a big top, 2000 teenage bhp's, up and dancing to the grooves. Live artistes, hundreds of games and extremely messy - some of them.
Others were deep and meaningful - spiritual even.
We had such mad and deep moments.

The other show was called
"The Very Stinking Late Show"
It was fronted by Martin W and myself, full on videos, live music/artistes, interviews, great fun and laughter ......... and all the video stunts which were created with our film crew.
It was electric .........
stinking WOW!

I will be doing 'Trustee' functions at the festival but I am sad that I am not doing any shows, workshops or talks this year.
I have not pushed myself forward - and I have not been asked - I guess a change of staff and key others has meant I have slipped the frame.
I will spend a lot of time with beautiful humans of course - late night through to early morning ........... loveitloveit .....

The last three years I have fronted the "iPod Show" which has been something beautiful.
Maximum participation
Maximum participants
All ages
Creative at the core.
Sad it is not in the programme this year.

If you have never been ....... it is impossible to describe in words .....
The whole is as beautiful and special as the individual item of art and programme.
Please don't think it is a typical festival.
You don't have to camp - there are lots of options.

It is a place that feeds our every breath - meets us at the point of our deepest yearning .......... consider?
