Hey ....... I feel I have been a bit thin on my blogs ........ sharing little reflections and stirrings from my soul - yes.
But really not said hello proper.
I have been trying to neglect everything in the cause of me working on this book I intend to publish asap.
I hope you will consider buying it. It will be called 'gutter feelings - something' because it is about my feelings as I have journeyed through life. I suppose it is a biography.
Those of you who read the original book, now out of print, will know it is about life and youth work. Gangs and violence. Faith and battering. Love and hope. Failure and learning. Reflections and practice.
Sociology and loveology. Psychology and becomingology. Inner city and the inner human.
There will be the original book plus a chapter of my YMCA years - community leadership and feeling and meeting great needs.
Then a chapter on::
The last four years of group work, Training, and many stories of encounters which have stretched my soul and changed my life.
The last chapter will be responding to a few questions from you and other humans who kindly grace my blog. That chapter is up to you - and I have only had a few questions in so far.
I know, from my work so far, that I have enough material to publish another book within the next few months - after I have got this one to bed - Lord I pray !
Otherwise - I am kicking darkness - back in action.
