It is great to work with humans
who have had tough lives.
I seem to be blessed in these times
spaces
encounters -
More than many others.
At the same time I believe we are all
undercover operators.
ALL wounded
ALL bruised
ALL with scars.
I have learned so much.
There is hurt there.
There is experience there.
The face shows it as the words struggle out in the context of a group.
This is what I do now.
It is pulling people together
and building a climate of trust and....
.... letting the group open up
on an issue
about life
about relationships
about the reality of hurt
rejection
which they/we
are stretched with.
Not comfortable,
but something
which stretches their
mind
imagination
openness
sharing
spilling
beauty-fulness
AND we all love that
to the very depth of our soul.
