U2 CELEBRATE NEW ALBUM
Irish rockers U2 were in celebratory form over the weekend after putting the finishing touches to their new album.
The band, who recorded their latest offering in New York, threw a star studded bash at the Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan where guests were treated to a rooftop barbecue.
Familiar faces at the sky-high party included former supermodel Helena Christiansen and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas.
The bands manager Paul McGuinness also joined in the fun. Bono and co are believed to have left the Big Apple the very next day to enjoy some down time possibly in their homes in the South of France.
But despite marking the completion of the new record, the band are still shying away from answering rumours of gigs at Dublin's O2 next year to showcase their new material.
Now wouldn't that be a Beautiful Day.
