I feel I haven't blogged
for ages and ages.
I don't know what day it is
I am on a big catch up
and
I have had the shivers
prickly nose, sneezes.
flat, energy-less and
drugging myself
with Beechams.
It is thought paracetamol reduces fever
by affecting an area of the brain
that regulates our body temperature
(the hypothalamic heat-regulating center).
The paracetamol in Beechams cold & flu
helps relieve aches, pains, sinus pain,
sore throats and fever
associated with colds and flu.
So so I have been out of sorts,
an English term!
I am about to fly to
Norway so want to be fit.
I am not fit.
I couldn't ski
last time in Voss -
I couldn't walk a mountain,
in Molde and I have not been
on my bike - half an hour
leaves me puffing.

If I ever voted
I would vote him out.
Big, strong, oldest.
Spends all his time
whinging about others,
not helping/supporting,
using is status to bully,
putting people down.
He who is greatest
is servant of all -
seems to me.
Those in power need
to strive in awareness,
sensitivity and encouragement.
I really have strong feelings
about misuse of power.
I would rather be seen as
weak and vulnerable
than an intimidating manipulator.
And I hope people don't think
that every person of faith
is not like Stephen Baldwin.
Rather - my sort of faith ......................
It is for the sorely burdened who are still shifting the heavy suitcase from one hand to the other.
It is for the wobbly and weak-kneed who know they don’t have it all together
and are too proud to accept the handout of amazing grace.
It is for inconsistent, unsteady disciples whose cheese is falling off their cracker.
It is for poor, weak, sinful men and women with hereditary faulty and limited talents.
It is for earthen vessels who shuffle along on feet of clay.
It is for the bent and the bruised who feel that their lives are a grave disappointment to God.
It is for smart people who know they are stupid and honest disciples who admit they are scallywags.
