DYLAN. ELVIS. LITTLE RICHARD. PIP WILSON

I never really liked the wailing folky style of singer that Bob Dylan was/is.
Neither Elvis  - he was always good to dance too tho.
I was more into Fats Domino/Little Richard - wild and free stuff.

I remember winning a Rugby League Cup in my late teens. I was the Captain of the team in a lower league. That night I was standing on tables in a pub singing like Little Richard - young wild and free. I loved that R&R.
I remember walking into a pub one lunch time when I worked in a factory in Sutton St Helens. There I heard and saw my first Juke Box. That would have been about 1955 and now I have a Juke Box called Rock-Ola - made in 1950. The one I saw back in the day was playing large sized vynal records and playing was ( I scream) Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis!!! )
Memories.

Now Dylan -  I only appreciated him when he had a faith experience and did THE ALBUM 'A Hard Train coming' or something like that. I played it non stop on my Dancette record player with the arm going to the centre and automatically swinging to start again repeat REPEATING......

But now I love his stuff because it is all about Justice for the oppressed bhp's.
THE ANSWER MY FRIEND IS BLOWING IN THE WIND.........
Love it Love it

Currently on the BBC iPlayer you can download 6 programmes about his life songs and relationships. Powerful stuff for anyone interested in issues beyond personal/own/selfish issues in life. He was involved in the Civil Rights stuff during MLK Junior years. His music spilled out the hurts of the day - and we have plenty of that now still - come-on you artistes ..............
