In this black pit of fear
The shadows gnawing at me
Stealing away
My hope.
I want to reach out
And know you will hear
And accept what and where
I am.

Besieged
In dreams
By swooping black cloaks
Which trap and enfold
This child inside.
I want to awaken
And know
I'm safe
Then, now and tomorrow
With no need to hide.

my name
Please listen and hear
my fear
