H is 5 and was due to start year one.
I gave her a getting ready for school goody bag (School info, soft toy, hand sanitiser, chocolates and a blobby tree).
H said she was the blobby
Lay on the floor with head buried in Her arms.
Her friend came to visit her a few days before school started and after that visit she told me she was the blob couple; arms around each other half way up the tree.
On the way home from school on the first day she said, “Mummy, I am the blob at the top of the tree now!!’
And later that evening I heard her tell our dog,
“I didn’t cry at school today Lolly, I loved it.”
